Why is Invisalign a top choice?
FOR DR.ROZE BIOHEALTH CLINICS | 03.06.2022
Invisalign is a very well-known brand of clear aligner braces that straighten teeth without having to wear fixed or attached braces. They are a top choice for many older teenagers and adults as they are invisible, so it doesn’t look like you are wearing any braces, easy to clean and more flexible.
1/- What is the Invisalign process?
First of all, book an appointment with your Invisalign provider in Dubai, talk to your orthodontist to review your orthodontic needs to see if Invisalign is the best option for you. Your specialist will use the iTero Element Scanner to take precise 3D images of your mouth to see how the clear aligners will fit best. You can then see an image of what your teeth will look like after the Invisalign treatment.
If together you both decide that the Invisalign clear aligner system is the best way to straighten your teeth, you will be fitted for a series of clear trays. Invisalign will then manufacture your series of clear aligners that uniquely fit your mouth that are slightly altered from one to the next to slowly move your teeth into the perfect position. Depending on your needs, you can have 1 tray fitted (for top or bottom) or both at the same time.
You will need to wear the clear aligner at least 22 hours per day, but you can take them out for eating, drinking and cleaning. You will follow the series of retainers as your specialist sees best. You should see your Invisalign specialist every 6-8 weeks for check-ups, to make sure all is going well and to pick up your next series of clear aligners. You will also need to keep your teeth clean and follow your regular brushing, flossing and professional cleaning routine.
2/- How can I clean the Invisalign clear aligners?
We recommend that you brush your teeth after ever meal while you are wearing the clear aligners to make sure you don’t get food trapped underneath them which will sit against your teeth. While you are brushing your teeth, you can also brush the trays. You will also be provided with the special Invisalign cleaning crystals for an extra clean once per day.
3/- What makes Invisalign different from other braces?
- Unlike braces, Invisalign clear aligners are removable and virtually invisible.
- They are easy to keep clean since you can remove them when you eat, drink and clean your teeth.
- Since there are no brackets attached to your teeth, you do not need to worry about food getting caught in your braces.
- Invisalign is a great option of adults and older teenagers since they cannot be seen when you wear them.
We do not recommend them for younger patients as they can be misplaced or lost as are many things with busy kids!
4/- What can Invisalign treat:
- Gaps between teeth
- Crowded or overlapping teeth
- Teeth which stick out
- Rotated or tilted teeth
- Irregular bites
- Deep bites
5/- Is Invisalign painful?
Not at all! The teeth are able to move as the aligner’s direct gentle forces onto them. The teeth can feel slightly tender at the start of treatment, but research and studies show that Invisalign is significantly more comfortable than any of the available alternatives.
6/- Do you offer payment plans?
Yes, we do! In order to make the cost of your Invisalign plan easier to manage, we are happy to offer payment plans which can be discussed with you during your consultation.
