After graduating with his dental undergraduate degree in 2008, Dr. Obada Barry moved to the United States of America to undertake the National Board of Dental Examination in 2010.

 

He finished his postgraduate specialization in Oral Surgery, Implantology, and Traumatology at the world-famous Bonn University Hospital, in Germany, in 2015. He received sub-specialty certifications in Implantology from the German Board of Oral Implantology (DGI) and the Dental Association of Hesse, Germany. Dr. Barry also received his research doctorate in dental medicine from the prestigious Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität in Bonn.

 

As a consultant Oral Surgeon, Dr. Barry covers a broad scope of surgical procedures such as wisdom teeth removal, microsurgical oral operations, and treatment of oral pathologies in general and medically compromised patients.

 

His primary specialty is the complex reconstructions of atrophic jaws (bone blocks, Shell/Khouri Technique, sinus lifts, sandwich osteotomies etc.), All-On-4 and All-On-6, and Zygoma full jaw rehabilitation with dental implants. He utilizes the most advanced techniques, guided surgery, and navigation protocols to achieve the most accurate outcome possible.

 

Dr. Barry concentrates on using autogenous tissues and the patient’s growth factors to simulate a better and faster healing process with minimal pain and risk of complications.

 

Dr. Barry is a published author and international speaker in the field of dental implants and bone reconstruction. He is proficient in multiple sedation techniques and holds a general anesthesia license at a state-of-art hospital in Dubai.
