Ingredients:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup salt
  • 2 tsp cream of tartar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Natural food coloring (optional)

 

Instructions

  • In a medium saucepan, combine flour, salt, and cream of tartar.
  • Add water and vegetable oil, and stir over medium heat.
  • Cook while stirring constantly until the mixture forms a thick dough.
  • Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
  • Knead the dough until smooth. Add natural food coloring if desired.
  • Store in an airtight container to keep soft.

 

Tip: Use natural ingredients like turmeric, beetroot powder, or spirulina to color the dough safely for kids.
