Homemade Muscle Rub
Create your own natural muscle rub for sore muscles and achy joints with this easy remedy! Here’s what you’ll need:
Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup grated beeswax
- 1/2 cup coconut oil
- 2 tsp cayenne powder
- 2 tsp turmeric or ginger powder
- 15 drops wintergreen essential oil
- 15 drops lavender essential oil
- 1 heat-safe bowl
- 1 glass jar
Instructions:
- Place all oils (except essential oils) in the heat-safe bowl.
- Boil water in a saucepan, then reduce to a simmer. Place the bowl on top to create a double boiler.
- Stir until everything melts, then slowly add cayenne and turmeric/ginger powder.
- Remove from heat and let it cool for 3 minutes.
- Add the essential oils and stir.
- Pour into a glass jar, let it cool completely, and seal.
