Create your own natural muscle rub for sore muscles and achy joints with this easy remedy! Here’s what you’ll need:

 

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup grated beeswax
  • 1/2 cup coconut oil
  • 2 tsp cayenne powder
  • 2 tsp turmeric or ginger powder
  • 15 drops wintergreen essential oil
  • 15 drops lavender essential oil
  • 1 heat-safe bowl
  • 1 glass jar

 

Instructions:

  1. Place all oils (except essential oils) in the heat-safe bowl.
  2. Boil water in a saucepan, then reduce to a simmer. Place the bowl on top to create a double boiler.
  3. Stir until everything melts, then slowly add cayenne and turmeric/ginger powder.
  4. Remove from heat and let it cool for 3 minutes.
  5. Add the essential oils and stir.
  6. Pour into a glass jar, let it cool completely, and seal.
