Electrolyte Popsicles for Kids
These homemade popsicles are perfect for hydration on hot days, after sports, or when recovering from illness.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups coconut water (natural electrolyte base)
- 1/2 cup fresh orange juice (or a mix of citrus like lemon/lime)
- 1-2 tbsp raw honey or maple syrup (to taste)
- 1/8 tsp sea salt (like Celtic or Himalayan salt)
- Optional: a few strawberries or berries for flavor & color
Instructions:
- Melt shea butter, beeswax and sweet almond oil in a double boiler, stirring continuously
- Mix all ingredients in a blender (add berries if using).
- Blend until smooth.
- Pour into popsicle molds.
- Freeze for at least 4-6 hours.
- Enjoy your refreshing, hydrating treat!
