Paula Beatriz is a dedicated and compassionate speech therapist who’s passionate about helping her patients breathe better and find balance in their orofacial muscles to tackle issues at the source. With over 7 years of experience, she’s committed to improving the lives of her patients by providing holistic, individualized care that’s backed by science.
Paula earned her degree in Speech and Language Therapy from the Complutense University of Madrid. She further specialized in Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders (OMDs) by completing the University Expert in Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy program through the Orofacial Motor Community of Latin America (CMOL) in 2023. Her advanced training allows her to address complex issues like mouth breathing, dysfunctional swallowing, obstructive sleep apnea, and tongue-tie (ankyloglossia) with precision and care.
Her therapy is rooted in evidence-based practices, ensuring that each session contributes to lasting improvements in oral and facial health. Paula also integrates family-centered techniques into her therapy, recognizing that healing is often a team effort. Whether she’s helping a child overcome speech challenges or guiding an adult through OMD treatment, Paula strives to create a warm, encouraging environment that motivates progress.
Outside of the clinic, Paula is passionate about sharing her knowledge. She regularly creates engaging content on social media, raising awareness and educating the broader community on the importance of orofacial health. Fluent in both English and Spanish, she’s able to offer therapeutic support to a diverse range of patients, making her especially approachable in multilingual settings.
On a personal level, Paula’s warmth extends beyond her professional life. She moved to Dubai in 2022 and enjoys staying active through sports, exploring new cultures, and diving into a good book. She’s also a proud pet parent to two lovely cats, and her love for children fuels her positive, upbeat approach to therapy.
