A bit of background on where you grew up?
I was born and raised in Saida, a beautiful city in Southern Lebanon on the Mediterranean coast. It’s the third largest city in Lebanon and has a rich history dating back thousands of years.

Where did you study?
I received both of my degrees (DDS and MSc) from the Lebanese University in Beirut.

What did you study?
Directly after earning my degree in Dental Surgery, I pursued my Master’s degree in Pediatric Dentistry and Dental Public Health.

Areas of expertise?
My area of expertise goes beyond traditional pediatric dentistry. As a certified Myobrace provider, my practice fills the need for a less mechanical – more biological preorthodontic treatment solution for children. By focusing on the real underlying causes of crowded teeth and malocclusion, it aims at correcting the poor oral habits that affect the teeth, jaws and facial development; offering children a more natural orthodontic solution.

What is your specialty area or your passion in dentistry?
As a pediatric dentist, I’m committed to ensuring that every child’s dental visit is a pleasant, painless and rewarding experience.

What is your favorite hobby to empty your mind?
After long, hectic days at the clinic, my absolute favorite thing to do is to simply unwind at home and listen to good music.

A recipe to share?
Believe it or not, I’ve never been in the kitchen. But, I do feel like I want to start experimenting!

Something that you do to lift your mood?
My husband is my biggest support system and the only person who knows exactly what to do whenever I’m feeling down! We go for long walks in nature and disconnect.

What is your motto?
I’m a true believer that ‘everything happens for a reason’!
